Systems Engineer

MAIN TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Solid understanding of PHP fundamentals (variables, arrays, loops, functions, basic OOP concepts).

Familiarity with Laravel basics:

• Routes
• Controllers
• Models and Eloquent ORM
• Migrations and seeders

Ability to read and modify existing code in Laravel.

Basic understanding of REST APIs (routes, requests, responses, JSON).

JavaScript and React (Basic)

Good command of modern JavaScript (ES6+):

• let / const
• Arrow functions
• Array methods (map, filter, etc.)

Basic experience with React:

• Functional components
• Props and state
• Hooks (useState, useEffect)
• Ability to consume APIs from the frontend (fetch / axios)

Frontend Fundamentals

Solid foundation in HTML and CSS.

Comfort working with:

• Forms
• Basic layout (Flexbox)

Experience with Tailwind, Bootstrap, or similar is a plus.

Development Workflow (Very Important)

Comfortable handling Git:

• Cloning a repository
• Creating branches
• Making commits
• Resolving simple merge conflicts

Ability to follow instructions and work on existing code patterns.

Ability to set up a local development environment (with guidance if necessary).

Problem Solving and Mindset

Ability to debug simple problems (read error messages, effectively search on Google).

Willingness to ask questions instead of getting stuck in silence.

Understands that code doesn't have to be perfect, but functional and continuously improving.

Comfortable receiving feedback and learning iteratively.

Desirable (Optional, Not Mandatory)

Experience with:

• Laravel authentication
• Basic testing (PHPUnit / functional tests)
• RESTful API design

Familiarity with:

• npm / yarn
• Vite or similar bundlers
• Personal projects (even small ones count)
