At Gyoza Studio, we specialize in the design and implementation of comprehensive technological solutions for our clients. We are a young, multidisciplinary team with a strong technical orientation and, above all, a great desire to do things well.
To expand our team, we are looking to incorporate a full-time medior (intermediate) backend developer specialized in Symfony to work hand-in-hand with our Head of Backend and the rest of the team, implementing APIs for our platforms and expanding other platforms created with PHP in a solvent and reliable manner.

Other skills we value
You are passionate about object-oriented programming and interested in SOLID and, in general, software development best practices.
You use git as an integral part of your workflow to version all your changes and integrate the work of the rest of the team.
You know the different phases of a project (from conceptualization to deployment through implementation) and are capable of tackling projects from scratch but also taking the reins of existing platforms.
You are able to communicate and make yourself understood with the rest of the team members (technical or not) and also with the client if necessary.
You are solvent handling UNIX systems: you should be able to set up your own work environments with ease and perform simple deployment and synchronization operations.
You want to participate in our team dynamics: we hold daily and weekly sessions to always be in contact, in addition to peer reviews and frequent reviews of each project to ensure we all row together towards the same goal.

- You know MongoDB and other solutions for storing data in a non-relational way.
- Continuous integration.
- You have tinkered with various types of cache systems.
- You are aware of the time each task requires and know how to estimate them in advance.
Your roles and responsibilities
- Write quality code that is easily maintainable in the future and allows you to optimize all processes.
- Develop new features and expand existing ones, refactoring code if necessary. You will also have the opportunity to start projects from scratch by defining and designing their complete architecture.
- Deployment and testing in the different environments of each project.
- Code optimization to improve scalability.

- Flexible hours: we like to coincide during the central hours of the day with everyone working (from 10h to 14h) but you can choose your schedule (about 8 hours a day).
- 100% Remote work. We need you to reside in Spain for tax reasons, but you can work from wherever you want every day of the week. That said, we will meet in Madrid periodically for company activities and other events.
- Flexible vacations (24 business days per year) and reasonable rest periods. You will not work on your birthday.
- Access to training, technical books, and any other resource that allows you to grow professionally.
- Of course, we will provide you with a computer, a monitor, and any other material you need.
