GT-Drive, a rapidly growing, fully digital transport company specializing in taxi, airport, and patient transport services, is seeking a motivated IT student. This is an opportunity to develop a proprietary digital platform that will form the core of our operations, focusing on bookings, automation, price calculation, and ride tracking.
This role is suitable for an Internship, Final Thesis Project, or Freelance Student Project.
Your Assignment
Develop a fully functional online platform and mobile application for GT-Drive.
Key Platform Modules
1. Booking Platform
* Automatic price calculation based on ride type (taxi, airport, patient transport).
* Support for extra options (extra stop, extra person, return trip).
* Integration with PayPal and Mollie payment systems.
* Bilingual interface (Dutch and English).
2. Backend & Dashboard
* Ride planning and assignment functionality.
* Overview of daily, weekly, and monthly rides.
* Integration with vehicle tracking systems.
* Customer database and ride history management.
* Financial reporting capabilities.
3. Driver Mobile App
* Functionality for drivers to receive, start, and change ride status.
* Signaling system for delays.
* Navigation coupling (Google Maps / Waze).
* Real-time updates transmitted to the dashboard.
Possible Future Extensions
* SMS/Email notification systems.
* Partner portal development (for Mutas, patient transport, fixed customers).
* API integrations.
* Automatic administration features (invoicing, VAT reports).
What We Expect
* Currently pursuing studies in Applied Informatics, Software Development, App Development, or Multimedia & Communication Technology.
