This position operates under our Gran Mundo model, offering 100% remote work, and is structured as a CLT employment contract.
Key Responsibilities: Staff Engineer, Technical Leadership & SEO Focus
As a Staff Engineer, you will be a primary technical reference. Your role is to be a facilitator, helping the team look ahead and ensuring our current technological choices sustain future growth.
- Technical Partnership: Act as a right-hand partner for engineering squads, helping design the future of our web platforms alongside product and engineering leadership.
- Architecture with Purpose: Design and sustain architectures capable of handling high traffic volume, treating Performance and SEO as integral parts of the code's DNA.
- Technical Leadership: Lead complex, end-to-end solutions technically, ensuring planned features reach the end-user with excellence and security.
- Team Evolution: Help establish and disseminate coding standards, libraries, and methodologies that raise the team's quality bar.
- Mentorship and Exchange: Mentor other engineers, promoting an environment where continuous learning and autonomy are the standard.
- Hands-On Contribution: Be present in the team's daily work. We value those who enjoy solving complex problems but also support the team in routine tasks to maintain pace and quality.

We seek someone who understands that user experience and search engine visibility are engineering problems.
- Technical SEO at Scale: Lead the implementation of Rendering strategies (SSR/ESR), indexing, and optimization of Core Web Vitals on high-volume platforms with thousands of URLs.
- SEO-First Architecture: Design solutions that facilitate crawlability, sitemap optimization, and canonical structures from conception.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize vital metrics (LCP, CLS, INP) using advanced techniques like advanced caching, lazy loading, and code splitting.
- Semantics and Structured Data: Ensure HTML quality and implement structured data (Schema.org), guaranteeing our content is indexed optimally.
Required Skills & Qualifications
What helps you succeed here (requirements):
- Full Stack Expertise: Solid experience in Front-end development (React, TypeScript) and Back-end development (Node.js).
- Database Management: Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, Redis).
- Caching: Understanding how to use cache (Browser, Server, and CDN) to reduce latency and improve TTFB.
- Infrastructure Fundamentals: Familiarity with Docker, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
- SEO & Performance Tools: Ability to use diagnostic tools like Search Console, Chrome DevTools, and Lighthouse to guide technical decisions.
- Leadership Soft Skills: Strong communication for resolving technical conflicts and translating engineering challenges into business value.
We would be happy if you also know:
- Cloudflare, Workers, ESR (Edge Side Rendering).
- Google services such as GTM, GCP, GA4.
- AWS.
- Other technologies like Vue.js/Nuxt.js, Tailwind, or PHP/WordPress environments.
- Editors like Cursor AI and AI agents for task optimization.
- Conversational English.
