Sr. Software Developer - Remote

Job Description

Buckeye Mountain, LLC. is seeking a Senior Software Developer to lead the design, development, maintenance, and technical requirements for complex locally hosted and cloud-based solutions. The successful candidate will possess in-depth technical expertise across multiple platforms, operating systems, and tools. This role requires a strong understanding of various technologies, including but not limited to PHP, SQL, Linux, Android, cloud applications, directory services, security, and 3rd party integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead, and implement PHP web applications and specialized solutions.
• Perform object-oriented design and development.
• Conduct application analysis and unit testing.
• Define specifications and/or modify complex software applications.
• Interact with team and customer stakeholders.
• Write technical documentation based on business and functional requirements.
• Deliver first-class software that solves real business problems.
• Provide input and feedback on architecture design, code, and business process support.

Required Experience

• Minimum 6 years’ experience with PHP, SQL, AWS Cloud, and MS Azure.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to take ownership and initiative.
• Balance multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to manage various tasks efficiently.
• Sound knowledge of basic system and network administration tasks.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/DYNAMICS

• Most working hours will be in an open office environment.
• Must be able to sit and work on a computer and/or laptop for long periods of time.
• Must have internet access at home to be able to remotely VPN to the work environment when necessary.
