The Role

We are seeking experienced Solutions Engineers to support prospective and existing customers in evaluating, testing, and implementing Apryse’s SDK technology as part of their products or services. This involves reviewing technical customer requirements and close collaboration with clients to provide effective, timely technical support and guidance throughout evaluation phases, ensuring successful adoption of our technology.

As an Apryse technology evangelist, you will be an expert in unpacking, interpreting, and solving business requirements and pains for customers across diverse industry verticals. You will communicate closely with Apryse sales and product engineering stakeholders to align customer expectations with licensing options and proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide product demonstrations and assistance with demo version installations or beta implementations of Apryse’s SDKs.
  • Proactively engage with customers via email or calls to assess current technical pains and scope out key technical requirements regarding functionality, platforms, and file formats customers need to support in their products or services through Apryse licensing.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and product engineering teams to review customer requirements and propose solutions that optimize value for both the customer and Apryse.
  • Provide customer feedback on requirements or usability of Apryse products to product engineering teams, aligning the Apryse product roadmap to meet market needs.
  • Debug customer application source code to diagnose and address errors/bugs or provide implementation guidance.
  • Propose and adapt solutions as necessary to ensure appropriate support for all key customer stakeholders.
  • Manage all technical support tickets throughout the pre-sales process and alert the Apryse sales team of potential risks to sales opportunities.
  • Work with Apryse sales associates to enhance their product knowledge and technical acumen in client communications.
  • Stay abreast of competitor solutions, electronic document standards, industry developments, trends, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • 1+ years’ experience developing complex software projects with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar program.
  • 1+ years’ experience in solutions architecture, solution integration/delivery, troubleshooting/debugging, or equivalent experience interfacing with customers in-depth on technical issues.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Italian is required.
  • Solid experience with web development technologies and frameworks (C#, PHP, ASP.NET, HTML5 Stack, JQuery, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, RESTful APIs).
  • Experience with Internet architecture and mobile application development (e.g., Android, iOS, UWP).
  • JavaScript expertise (or willingness to learn JavaScript) and up-to-date with the latest trends (e.g., ES6/7, CSS3, React/Angular, NPM/Yarn, Webpack/Parcel, responsive web design).
  • Portfolio (GitHub or technical blogs) and experience building and debugging complex systems in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain focus and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of dependability.

Assets

  • Spanish language skills (written and verbal) preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or interest in computer graphics, document formats/processing (especially page description languages such as PDF, SVG, XPS, PostScript), image compression technologies, and AI.
  • Flexible and experienced working as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
