We are looking for a dedicated Software Tester (m/f/d) who thoroughly tests our software products with a passion for quality and precision. In this role, you will contribute significantly to providing innovative applications reliably and flawlessly. You are responsible for planning, executing, and documenting tests to ensure that our software meets the highest standards. With your expertise, you will support our team in continuously implementing improvements and optimizing the user experience.
Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of test plans based on requirements and specifications
- Executing automated tests using tools like Selenium, TestNG, and Jenkins to increase efficiency
- Performing manual tests in various environments to ensure functionality, security, and performance
- Using test management tools such as HP ALM or TFS for documenting and tracking test results
- Collaborating in agile teams, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Analyzing bug reports, creating reproduction steps, and coordinating with developers for bug resolution
- Using various programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, and SQL for database testing and scripting
Qualifications
- Solid experience in software testing, ideally in agile development processes
- Knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium, LoadRunner, and experience with Jenkins or Maven
- Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN or TFS, as well as Jira for project management
- Experience working with databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle), SQL queries, and PL/SQL
- Programming skills in Java, C#, Python, C++, Bash (Unix Shell), PHP, or Node.js are desirable
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and knowledge of HTML, XML, JSON, and XML-based technologies
- Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working, and team spirit
