This role is crucial for driving Medbridge forward as an insights company, focusing on outcomes for patients, clinicians, and organizations. You will champion a strong engineering culture, advocate for best practices, and make an impact across the organization by integrating cutting-edge AI/ML capabilities into our platform.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions within the Medbridge platform, incorporating AI/ML capabilities to enhance product functionality.
- Implement AI-powered features and integrate third-party AI services (e.g., OpenAI, Claude API) into existing products under senior guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver new features.
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
- Utilize AI tools (such as Claude Code or Cursor) to increase development speed while maintaining quality.
- Contribute to improving software engineering practices and stay current with emerging AI technologies and tools.
- Participate in technical discussions and share knowledge with team members.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience, with exposure to SaaS applications and web services.
- Experience contributing to the design and implementation of web application features and components.
- Basic experience integrating AI/ML services or APIs into applications, coupled with eagerness to expand AI expertise.
- Proficiency with front-end and back-end technologies, including languages like PHP and JavaScript using frameworks like Angular and Laravel.
- Experience working with AI-powered development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) to enhance productivity.
- Solid understanding of MySQL or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and basic knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating third-party services.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry experience.

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000.
