Key Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Flexibility: Support our evolving web presence by contributing to projects involving React/Next.js and PHP.
- AI-Driven Productivity: Actively use our AI-assisted development suite to refactor code, generate documentation, and accelerate delivery.
- Data Stewardship: Manage, query, and optimize complex datasets across multiple business domains using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Cross-Functional Maintenance: Provide expert support and feature enhancements for a wide range of applications written in VB.NET and VB6.
- Strategic Modernization: Lead and execute migration projects to move legacy components into modern .NET environments.
- Hybrid Version Control: Maintain codebase integrity across both modern (GitHub) and legacy (SourceSafe) environments.
Job Requirements
All candidates should possess significant experience in one or more of:
- AI assisted development
- Azure services
- C#
- MS SQL Server
- MS VB.Net
- MS VB6
- PHP Laravel
- React.js/Next.js
Preferred (not required) would include:
- In addition to English, efficiency in French or Spanish (written and oral)
- Experience in media software applications (TV, Radio, and Digital)
- Familiarity with Accounts Receivable functions
- Experience in migrating VB6 codebases to modern framework
