UnifiedCommunications is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer based remotely in Mexico. Key Responsibilities
- Participate across all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain customizations for the NetSuite ERP system using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and related tools.
- Create and optimize NetSuite Saved Searches, Workbooks, and Reports to support business intelligence needs.
- Perform NetSuite administration tasks, including user management, role configuration, and dashboard customization.
- Integrate NetSuite with third-party applications and internal systems.
- Maintain a strong focus on security and data protection across all systems.
- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications, accompanied by clear documentation.
- Update and maintain project management systems and version control (GitHub).
- Address and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Develop a deep understanding of business processes and how technology supports them.
- Contribute to team operations discussions and collaborate diplomatically with colleagues.
- Be available outside normal working hours when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (TypeScript knowledge is a plus).
- Experience with web development and cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
- Proficiency in version control tools (Git/GitHub).
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with NetSuite is required.
Bonus Skills
- Extensive experience with NetSuite tools (SuiteScript 1.0/2.0, SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, SuiteAnalytics).
- Familiarity with ERP systems and business process automation.
- Experience with PHP, Docker, or Azure.
- Experience with WordPress Plugins.
- NetSuite certification(s).
