To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) with Moodle experience at the earliest possible date to technically advance our learning platform and, together with our Learning Design Team, translate innovative learning concepts into powerful digital solutions.
What your responsibilities will be
- Further development and optimization of our Moodle-based learning platform
- Development of new extensions and interfaces
- Customization and modernization of existing Moodle components
- Analysis and optimization of performance, security, and user-friendliness
- Collaboration on the technical conception of new digital learning offerings
- Close cooperation with our Learning Design Team to develop innovative didactic concepts
- Integration of external systems via REST APIs and standards such as LTI or SCORM
- Support with updates, releases, and quality assurance
- Technical support and troubleshooting for our Moodle environment
- Documentation of developments and best practices
What you should bring
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in development with Moodle
- Very good knowledge of PHP as well as Moodle Core APIs
- Experience with MySQL/MariaDB
- Confident handling of Git
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of web services, REST APIs, and authentication procedures (OAuth, SAML, LDAP) is desirable
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- Enthusiasm for teamwork and interest in modern technologies
