Software Developer for Inventory System

Casa Juarez Mexican Town Restaurant is seeking a Software Developer experienced in designing and developing web systems to create a custom inventory system for our restaurant. The project includes managing products like liquors, beers, food, and kitchen supplies, with features for stock control optimization, report generation, and internal process automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in full-stack development, databases, and best practices in security and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an inventory control system tailored to the restaurant's operational flow.
• Develop modules for stock entries, exits, alerts, and automated reports.
• Integrate the system with databases and supplier APIs.
• Create an administrative panel with user access levels (management, kitchen, bar, etc.).
• Perform testing, maintenance, and documentation for the project.

Requirements

• Proven web development experience (minimum 3 years).
• Proficiency in one of the following technology stacks:
  • Frontend: React.js, Vue.js, or Angular
  • Backend: Node.js, Python (Django or Flask), PHP, or similar
  • Database: MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and version control (Git/GitHub).
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Desirable Qualifications

• Previous experience developing systems for restaurants, bars, or food and beverage businesses.
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX and graphical report generation.
