How does your journey work?
We want you to know what to expect from your very first contact with Smarthis. Therefore, our journey was designed to connect application, selection process, track selection, and development into a single experience.
1. You apply
During application, you share a bit about yourself, your interests, and the areas where you would like to develop your career.
You can indicate one or more tracks of interest — and you don't need to have all the answers right now.
2. We get to know you
During the selection process, we look beyond your experience and technical knowledge. We want to understand your profile, your interests, your skills, and your potential.
Our selection takes place across three meetings:
- First meeting — Cultural Alignment: A moment to get to know you better and share more about Smarthis, our culture, and our way of working.
- Second meeting — Technical Evaluation: An opportunity to showcase your knowledge, reasoning, and learning potential.
- Third meeting — Conversation with Leadership: A discussion to delve deeper into your profile and understand which opportunities make the most sense for you and for the business.
You can count on feedback at every stage. We believe feedback is an essential part of development, regardless of the outcome.

To provide a complete development and learning experience, we have structured your start at Smarthis into 3 stages that support your evolution from your first days through real project experience.
1. Onboarding
Your first step will be getting to know Smarthis from the inside.
Our People team will be by your side to welcome you, introduce our history, culture, what we do, and some of the key challenges and achievements of our journey.
It is time to understand who we are, how we work, and what you are stepping into.
2. Learning Track
At Smarthis, we believe our greatest asset is people. Therefore, we developed an exclusive learning track to support your growth from the start of your journey.
During the first month, you will participate in a structured schedule featuring:
- Technical classes and content
- Practical challenges
- Development activities
- Weekly follow-up meetings
- Knowledge-sharing sessions with the team
All of this ensures you expand your knowledge, gain a deeper understanding of our business, and get ready for the next step.
3. Project Experience
Now it is time to put learning into practice!
Following the learning track, you will be integrated into your new team and a real Smarthis project, experiencing our routine and challenges firsthand.
Here, you will work together with your team developing solutions for national and/or international clients, applying the knowledge gained during your journey in practice.
It is time to learn by doing, exchange experiences, and begin building your professional path with us.

Responsibilities and assignments
Your job will be to
- Help Smarthis on its transformation journey, going beyond digital transformation: contributing to the evolution of processes, ideas, and ways of thinking. We believe questioning standards and seeking new perspectives is essential to building more creative solutions and generating innovative results.
- Work across different areas of the company, such as Development, Projects, and Data, supporting real challenges and broadening your perspective on technology, innovation, and business.
Requirements and qualifications
What you need to have
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Control and Automation Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields;
- For positions focusing on Development: Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as .NET, Python, PHP, Java, C#, VBA, VBScript, among others;
- For positions focusing on Processes and Projects: Knowledge of process management, project management, and continuous improvement;
- Good organizational skills, proactivity, interpersonal communication, and ease working in teams;
- Intermediate English proficiency;
- Availability to work in a hybrid or remote model.
Great to have
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools;
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and/or project management;
- Participation in junior enterprises, academic projects, undergraduate research, or extracurricular activities;
- Interest in technology, innovation, automation, and digital transformation;
- Knowledge of collaboration and productivity tools;
- Advanced or fluent English proficiency.
