We are seeking a highly skilled, versatile, and detail-oriented Shopify Plus Full Stack Developer, capable of working across Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, and modern architectures.

This role demands strategic thinking, deep technical mastery, and the ability to lead complex projects, while also contributing to team growth through mentorship and the intelligent adoption of AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development & Architecture

• Develop, optimize, and maintain custom storefronts on Shopify Plus, including themes, advanced functionalities, and custom applications.
• Build high-performance websites using Webflow, WordPress, and Shopify, ensuring speed, stability, and scalability.
• Lead the development of custom themes, plugins, third-party integrations, and complex technical solutions.
• Make architectural decisions for both front-end and back-end, guaranteeing quality, security, and maintainability.
• Write clean, scalable, and secure code with solid documentation, testing, and versioning practices.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development flows, testing, QA, debugging, and documentation.
• Contribute to (and eventually lead) custom software development and mobile application projects as the company grows.
• Implement integrations via REST, GraphQL, webhooks, and APIs to connect external systems, automate processes, and improve operations.
• Create and manage relational databases and SQL queries for efficient data flows.

Analysis, Performance & Optimization

• Monitor site speed, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, accessibility, and mobile performance.
• Design, execute, and interpret A/B tests focused on conversion and user experience.
• Analyze user behavior, interaction patterns, and abandonment points using Looker Studio, GA4, and additional tools.
• Develop monthly dashboards and reports with actionable insights to guide marketing, product, and UX decisions.

Collaboration, Technical Leadership & Communication

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, analysts, marketers, and other engineers across different time zones.
• Clearly communicate technical information to non-technical teams to facilitate strategic decisions.
• Mentor mid-level developers and actively contribute to internal knowledge and the standardization of best practices.
• Work remotely with international teams (NY, Delhi, CDMX) in agile and highly collaborative environments.

Required Skills & Experience (Must-Haves)

Technical Experience & Capabilities

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Deep mastery of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design techniques.
• Solid experience with Shopify (Liquid, CLI, custom apps), WordPress (PHP, plugins, APIs), and Webflow.
• Practical knowledge of Next.js and modern web application architectures.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Git, CI/CD, automated workflows, and efficient deployments.
• Demonstrable experience using AI to improve code quality, accelerate delivery times, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Advanced English for technical communication and leadership in remote environments.
• Strategic mindset, critical thinking, and a passion for staying up-to-date with technology trends.

• Previous experience in a fast-paced agency or startup.

Compensation & Contract

• Starting from $MXN 200 per hour
• Monthly renewable contract
