Position Title: ServiceNow Developer
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will leverage the latest technologies to develop low-code platforms and create user-friendly solutions for clients. You will apply your expertise in Service Portal and Service Catalog to structure OIS items and build new catalog items. Your skills in programming languages and databases will be crucial for identifying new techniques and enhancing the digital environment, often with minimal code. Utilizing cutting-edge cloud tools, you will guide your team and develop innovative solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor, translating client IT needs and future goals into actionable plans by crafting architectural patterns, design standards, and implementing best practices.
You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow development, including core ITSM tables, CSM, Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, custom apps, or development methods
- Experience developing within the ServiceNow Service Catalog module
- Experience with web development, including XHTML, HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, or Angular, and back-end technologies such as JavaScript, PHP, .NET, Java, or ColdFusion
- Experience with ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) administration
- Experience implementing scripted web services in ServiceNow, jQuery, or Prototype libraries, Java, and CMDB or asset integrations within ServiceNow
- Experience coordinating and leading client workshops
- Experience with scoped delegated development in a multi-vendor environment
- Knowledge of SOAP and REST web services
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), or an engineering/technical field with 5 years of experience, or 13 years of experience in lieu of a degree
Nice to have:
- Experience with ServiceNow Enterprise Agile Planning (EAP) in the Strategic Planning Module
- Experience with migrating from ServiceNow Service Portal to Employee Center
- Experience supporting VA Enterprise Efforts
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming, SQL, and NoSQL databases
- Experience with application design concepts and tools, including UML, ERD, and Flow Diagrams
- Experience introducing open-source solutions into ServiceNow via Script Includes or as JS or CSS Includes
- Experience implementing ServiceNow inside a DevOps pipeline
- Experience with Agile Scrum development methods
- Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP Integrations
- Ability to work with stakeholders to define requirements
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000
