Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new software programs, websites, and applications.
• Write advanced, scalable, strong, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable programming code.
• Train, guide, and lead other developers on software use.
• Learn the existing codebase and continuously improve coding skills.
• Perform functional, integrated, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Maintain a consumer-focused outlook and aid in the delivery of IT projects to market.
• Maintain and secure servers against vulnerabilities and cyber-attacks (ransomware, data theft, etc.) that affect server uptime.
• Be involved in the global blockchain community, working on implementing and integrating the latest improvement proposals.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of previous experience as a software programmer or developer (Senior roles).
• Experience in designing, programming, and implementing large information systems.
• Experience in functional testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience working with agile development methodologies.
• Experience creating and maintaining databases.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement.
• Fast learner, able to start on complex software projects quickly (an added advantage).
• Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced knowledge of programming languages including JavaScript, NodeJS, C++, C#, Java, SQL, PHP, or Python.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS or GCP).
• Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, GraphQL, or Redis.
• Knowledge of mobile application development technologies such as Flutter, Xamarin, React Native, Kotlin, Swift, or Java.
• Knowledge of source control using Git (GitHub, Gitlab, or Bitbucket).
• Knowledge of system frameworks including Express, Laravel, React, .NET, Angular, Rails, or Django.
• Proficiency and experience in building or utilizing REST APIs, including parsing data in various formats and understanding best practices.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay Range: RM2,200.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
