Senior Web Developer, Technical Right Hand at Sitegrow

Context

Sitegrow is growing fast. We are building the first Quebec agency that combines SEO, GEO, and high-level technical execution, with an internal automation roadmap that won't slow down. We have major clients and ambitious projects.

What we are looking for is someone capable of taking an idea, challenging it, building it, and putting it into production without needing their hand held. Someone who thinks like a partner, not an executor. Someone who will make our clients' sites perform at a technical SEO/GEO level like no one else.

Profile We Are Looking For

• You have 5+ years of experience in web development and have worked with multiple stacks. You are tech-agnostic: you choose the tool that does the job, not the one you know best.
• You have fully integrated AI into your workflow. Claude, Cursor, Copilot are not gadgets to you; they are leverage you use to deliver 3x faster than your former self. You know when to prompt, when to code by hand, and when to connect the two.
• You can run 5 to 10 projects in parallel without losing track because you know how to prioritize and automate the rest.
• You see the business behind the code. A website is not just a deliverable; it is a growth tool, and you treat it as such.
• You think out of the box. When told "it can't be done," you already have 2 workaround ideas in mind.
• You want to be in a booming company that is far from reaching its ceiling, where your decisions have a direct impact on growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deliver client websites (WordPress, Shopify, Astro, Webflow, Sanity depending on the project) with high performance and technical SEO standards.
• Build and evolve internal automations that power Sitegrow (SEO/GEO content pipelines, DataForSEO/Ahrefs/Supabase integrations, client dashboards, n8n).
• Rapidly prototype ideas we have in mind but haven't had time to test yet.
• Document, structure, and make work reusable so we can scale the team later.

Current Stack (Non-exhaustive)

WordPress (custom themes, ACF, PHP), Shopify (Liquid), Astro, Next.js, Tailwind, Supabase, Railway, n8n, DataForSEO, Ahrefs MCP, Claude API, Sanity. If you know 60% of this and can learn the rest quickly, that works for us too.

What to Expect (Let's Be Honest)

At Sitegrow, things move fast, priorities change quickly, and we build a lot in parallel.

This is not a role for someone who wants a fixed specification sheet and pre-sliced tickets.

However, it is a role where your ideas will be implemented on the fly, not in 6 months after 4 committees and 6 levels of approval.
