Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
- Acting as a technical reference for the SRE team, supporting the resolution of complex incidents and serving as an escalation point for critical situations.
- Technically leading war rooms and high-severity incidents — triage, communication, decision-making, and postmortem.
- Designing and evolving the platform's observability architecture (Dynatrace, Grafana, Kibana, OpenSearch), ensuring coverage, alert quality, and noise reduction.
- Developing automations, internal tools, and engineering solutions that reduce toil and increase system reliability.
- Collaborating with development teams on defining SLIs/SLOs, resilience patterns, and good practices for production operations.
- Acting as a guardian of environment health — production and staging — identifying trends, regressions, and risks before they become incidents.
- Building and maintaining high-level runbooks, playbooks, and technical documentation, elevating the collective knowledge of the team.
- Mentoring and supporting the technical development of junior and mid-level analysts, serving as a reference for an investigative posture and ownership.

What You Need to Know:
Observability & Troubleshooting
- Proficiency in reading and correlating logs, metrics, and traces — you see patterns before they become problems.
- Solid experience with tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, Kibana, OpenSearch, or CloudWatch.
- Ability to conduct complex investigations and clearly communicate root cause to different audiences (devs, product, leadership).
Development & Automation
- Python or Bash at a level to build real solutions — automations, pipelines, diagnostic tools.
- Experience with software engineering practices: testing, versioning, code review.
- Solid knowledge of how web applications work in production: REST APIs, authentication, caching, circuit breakers.
Infrastructure & Platform
- Advanced Linux and command-line proficiency.
- Kubernetes in production — knows how to debug pods, understand resource limits, networking between services.
- AWS beyond the console: IAM, VPC, EKS, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch — knows what they are doing and why.
- Experience with CI/CD and good practices for secure deployment.

- Contributions to open source projects or technical communities.
