Your tasks:
Concept and Product Development: Together with Business Analysis, you will develop new concepts for new products or extensions of existing products. This applies to individual customer projects as well as SaaS products and internal projects for modernizing the existing product landscape. Here, you will design various solution strategies, evaluate impacts, problems, and risks, and prepare them for decision-making. Your focus is on both customer satisfaction and the strategic goals of the company, so that your solutions ideally integrate seamlessly into the existing company structure.
Project Planning: After the technical planning of a project, you will create a detailed technical solution design for handover to IT. Ideally, you will already provide suggestions for the software architecture to challenge them with IT. You will evaluate the technical implementation envisioned by IT with regard to the necessary target image from both an operational and strategic perspective. You will prepare the technical kickoff to present the project to all IT project participants and to reduce misunderstandings regarding the target image.
Project Work: For larger projects, you will create corresponding milestones and meaningful intermediate steps for the project in consultation with project management. You are responsible for creating the corresponding epics and user stories and support IT in the final refinement. As a consultant, you support both IT and project management with emerging questions and problems. In the event of necessary deviations during the project, you analyze and coordinate the different needs of the involved parties and balance them.
Communication and Support: You are the contact person for technical questions from customers and internal stakeholders and can communicate and translate between business and IT. As an interface between the specialist departments, you ensure appropriate communication of technical topics and the needs of the respective departments. You take over technical 2nd level support and, if necessary, communicate the results of 3rd level support back to the customer.

What you bring
Many years of experience: You have completed a degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable education and bring several years of experience in a comparable environment and field of activity. You have sound knowledge of the financial and insurance industry and understand its specific requirements and processes. Furthermore, a basic understanding of established, industry-specific standards such as BiPRO or GDV is an advantage.
Technical know-how: Several years of experience in the design, mapping, and testing of web services and web service-oriented system architectures.
Analytical and conceptual strength: You possess excellent skills in analysis and concept creation, always with a high degree of quality awareness.
Independent working style: You are characterized by a high degree of independence and initiative and can quickly familiarize yourself with new subject areas.
Communication skills: You are confident in dealing with various stakeholders and are able to convey complex issues in a target-group-oriented and understandable manner.
Development Know-How: Ideally, you have sound experience with PHP, PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, Slim etc.), database administration with MySQL, SOAP web services, and JSON APIs.
