Key Responsibilities: Solution Architecture & Product Strategy
- Concept and Product Development: Collaborate with Business Analysis to define new product concepts or enhance existing offerings, covering individual client projects, SaaS products, and internal modernization initiatives.
- Design comprehensive solution strategies, evaluating potential impacts, risks, and issues to facilitate informed decision-making. Ensure solutions align seamlessly with existing corporate structures, balancing customer satisfaction and strategic objectives.
- Technical Project Planning: Develop detailed technical solution designs following functional planning for IT implementation. Propose and challenge software architecture recommendations with the IT team.
- Evaluate proposed technical implementations against strategic and operational target states. Prepare and lead technical kickoffs to align all IT project participants.
- Project Execution and Consulting: Define project milestones and intermediate steps for large projects in coordination with Project Management.
- Create necessary Epics and User Stories, supporting the IT team during final refinement stages. Act as a consultant, addressing technical questions and issues for both IT and Project Management.
- Analyze and coordinate stakeholder needs, balancing requirements during necessary project deviations.
- Communication and Technical Support: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, bridging communication between business requirements and IT implementation.
- Ensure appropriate communication of technical subjects and departmental needs across functional areas.
- Manage technical 2nd Level Support and communicate 3rd Level Support outcomes back to the customer as required.
- Documentation: Produce comprehensive technical project documentation and architecture diagrams, including documentation for customer projects.
Required Skills & Experience
- Professional Background: Completed degree in (Business) Informatics or equivalent training, coupled with several years of relevant professional experience.
- Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Financial or Insurance sector, including specific requirements and processes. Familiarity with established industry standards such as BiPRO or GDV is advantageous.
- Technical Architecture Expertise: Proven experience (several years) in the design, mapping, and testing of web services and web service-oriented system architectures.
- Analytical and Conceptual Strength: Exceptional ability to analyze complex situations and develop high-quality concepts.
- Stakeholder Communication: Confidence in interacting with diverse stakeholders and effectively communicating complex technical matters in an understandable way.
- Work Ethic: Highly independent, proactive, and capable of quickly mastering new subject areas.
- Development Knowledge (Ideal): Solid experience with PHP, PHP frameworks (e.g., Symfony, Laravel, Slim), MySQL database administration, SOAP Web Services, and JSON APIs.
