The Role: Senior Professional Services Engineer
Playlist builds technology designed to move people off screens and into meaningful experiences. As a Senior Professional Services Engineer, you serve as a crucial technical liaison between our innovative solutions and the specific requirements of our customers. You will dive deep into complex technical challenges, converting ambiguous business needs into elegant, scalable solutions that drive client growth and success.
- Lead comprehensive technical engagements from initial discovery through design, implementation, and successful launch, ensuring precise and creative fulfillment of unique client needs.
- Design and develop custom integrations that seamlessly connect our platforms with diverse client ecosystems, utilizing expertise in web architectures and API interactions.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively bridging communication gaps.
- Architect robust solutions that strategically balance customer satisfaction with risk management, demonstrating deep knowledge of system design, data flows, and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with global teams to deliver time-boxed, fixed-scope projects that surpass client expectations and highlight our commitment to technical excellence.
- Proactively identify potential challenges, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain high quality through rigorous testing, documentation, and production readiness practices.
- Support pre-sales activities by offering technical insights, scoping recommendations, and demonstrating the transformative potential of our platforms.

Experience You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in customer-facing engineering roles, such as Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Consulting.
- Proven expertise and hands-on production experience in one or more backend languages (Node.js, Java, C#, Python, PHP).
- Strong proficiency in web architecture integration and REST/JSON API interactions, including advanced authentication and performance optimization techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate fluently and professionally in English (written and spoken), with a talent for simplifying complex technical concepts.
- Track record of successful project deliveries showcasing end-to-end technical problem-solving and a customer-centric approach.
- Experience working with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern CI/CD pipeline practices.
- Comfort collaborating across global time zones and in dynamic, team-oriented environments.
- Optional: Background in health, wellness, fitness, or SaaS platforms, potentially including exposure to CMS technologies.
