As a Senior Software Engineer, your mission is to ensure product quality, promote team evolution, and acquire and share technical knowledge and best practices. Are you ready?
Key Responsibilities
- Define the architecture for low-complexity applications.
- Define and facilitate the effective execution of the software development process, actively contributing to activity planning while adhering to market best practices.
- Contribute to the team's technical knowledge base by sharing expertise and serving as a technical reference.
- Promote total software quality in partnership with other roles within the project team.
- Anticipate and flag potential issues that could compromise deadlines.
Required Skills & Experience
We require candidates to:
- Write elegant, testable, and error-free code that is documented, includes developed unit tests, and adheres to adopted software development flow standards.
- Master and manipulate source code, including code written by others, even if it falls outside project standards.
- Understand how source code behaves at runtime, identify and correct complex problems, pinpoint areas for improvement, and remove technical debt.
- Comprehend the architectural ecosystem, as well as design and evolve the architecture of the product you are working on.
- Possess knowledge in architecture, design, and development using PHP, JavaScript, Relational Databases, and Backend/Frontend Unit Testing.
- Have knowledge of Docker, Linux, CI/CD, and Git.
- Be proficient in Scrum, Kanban, Clean Code, and SOLID principles.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Advanced English proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
- Knowledge of EmberJS, Angular, or React.
- Experience with Symfony or Laravel frameworks.
- Familiarity with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of log and performance monitoring tools.
