For our development department, we are looking for reinforcement in the form of a Senior Software Engineer / PHP Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) in full-time.

• Pioneering work in Agentic Coding: You evaluate and integrate autonomous coding agents (e.g., via Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot) into our workflows. You define how humans and machines work together in the architecture of tomorrow.
• Architecture & Full-Stack Responsibility: You holistically develop our GeNesys platform – from high-performance backend logic in PHP to responsive, modern frontends (Vue, Angular).
• Technological Guardrails: As a Senior, you ensure that quality is not compromised despite AI acceleration. You rely on PHPUnit, clean test coverage, and robust DevOps practices in our CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimizing Developer Experience (DX): You use modern tools to minimize friction. Your goal: An environment where you can focus on solving complex problems instead of dealing with manual busywork.

Your Profile – What you bring to the table

You combine the solid craftsmanship of an experienced engineer with curiosity for the next technological level:

• Expertise: You have many years of deep experience in object-oriented PHP development and live the principles of Clean Code and Software Craftsmanship out of conviction.
• You look beyond the horizon of a single language technically and also support migration projects into other environments.
• AI-Native Approach: You already use AI tools productively and have a clear understanding of where Agentic Coding has the greatest leverage and where human judgment remains indispensable.
• Modern Stack Understanding: You are confident with relational databases (MariaDB / PostgreSQL) and feel at home with modern frontend frameworks as well as working with Git-based workflows (GitLab/GitHub).
• Communication at Eye Level: You convince with expertise, enjoy sharing your knowledge within the team, and communicate confidently in German and English.
