Channel Factory is actively seeking an innovative and dedicated Sr Full Stack Python / Django Developer to join our expanding engineering team. We require an eager, passionate, and highly skilled individual ready to bring our product vision to life. This Engineer must demonstrate relentless attention to detail, collaborating across teams to communicate ideas, shape our brand, and drive customer demand. The role involves working on diverse projects, requiring extensive experience with the software engineering life cycle and managing large data. A key focus will be ensuring the utilization of the latest technologies, techniques, functionality, trends, and usability best practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to develop and deliver complete end-to-end features across the technology stack.
- Lead technical design discussions and establish architectural decisions for new systems and features.
- Analyze and optimize code quality, efficiency, and performance, providing constructive feedback during peer code reviews.
- Establish ownership of specific components, features, or systems, demonstrating expert end-to-end understanding.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively.
- Collaborate seamlessly with distributed team members across multiple time zones, including offshore development teams.
- Build strong relationships and foster team cohesion across geographical and cultural boundaries.
- All other tasks as required.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring junior developers.
- Expert proficiency required in Python / Django.
- Strong proficiency with ReactJS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, web infrastructure, and tooling for automated testing and deployment.
- In-depth experience utilizing cloud-based services (specifically AWS).
- Experience with various database technologies (Postgres, OpenSearch, Redis).
- Experience with distributed data technologies (RabbitMQ, Celery).
- Knowledge of digital advertising is a plus.
- This role may involve occasional travel for in-person collaboration, meetings, or training.
