We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer
Your Mission
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing the core functionalities of our recruitment platform. Additionally, you will ensure a stable, scalable, and high-quality product, applying good software architecture practices and actively contributing to Viterbit's technological evolution.
What will your day-to-day be like?
- You will design and develop new functionalities for both frontend and backend.
- You will participate in the definition and evolution of software architecture (DDD + Hexagonal + CQRS).
- You will write automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- You will actively contribute to the development and evolution of our AI, which transforms recruitment by automating conversations and processes.
- You will manage and optimize MongoDB databases to ensure performance and scalability.
- You will work with RabbitMQ for event management and asynchronous processes.
- You will collaborate closely with the Product and Engineering teams to deliver business-aligned solutions.
- You will perform code reviews, ensuring quality standards and best practices.
- You will contribute to the continuous improvement of agile methodology and development processes.

REQUIREMENTS
Professional Background
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience in technology startups (preferably SaaS with a high level of scalability).
- Experience developing user-facing digital products.
- Practical experience working with generative AI technologies: LLMs, agents, RAG, MCP, multi-component architectures, etc. We are not looking for a researcher, but someone who has "battled" with this new world, applied it to real products, and understands its technical challenges.
Technological Background
Our current stack includes:
- PHP 8.3 and Symfony 7.3.
- JavaScript (ES6) with Bootstrap and TailwindCSS.
- MongoDB and data modeling in NoSQL environments.
- Docker, RabbitMQ, and Elasticsearch.
- DDD, Hexagonal, and CQRS architectures.
- Advanced testing with PHPUnit and complementary tools.
- Fluent technical English.
We are not looking for someone who has used everything, nor necessarily comes from PHP. We especially value experience in similar environments, even with other languages or frameworks.
