Description
We are actively seeking talented Intermediate and Senior Engineers to join the dynamic Felix Engineering team!
In this full-stack developer role, you will be instrumental in writing code and architecting the robust infrastructure that powers our proprietary digital healthcare ecosystem. Our engineering positions are full stack, utilizing technologies such as Vue.js and PHP/Laravel. You will collaborate closely with teammates, taking fundamental responsibility for the technical requirements and management of our front-end and back-end systems. These systems are critical for delivering exceptional experiences to our patients, healthcare practitioners, and pharmacists. You will also work cross-functionally with our product and design teams to develop innovative, industry-transforming products and experiences that drive patient acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance our back-end and front-end systems, including defining architectural patterns, technical specifications, and designs for database management.
- Write high-quality code and develop scalable software solutions to support the launch of new products, entry into new markets, and expansion into additional healthcare categories.
- Improve platform reliability through rigorous testing, comprehensive observability, and proactive monitoring, identifying areas for system optimization and continuous improvement.
- Manage communication flows across all levels of the technology stack to maximize efficiency and establish sound engineering practices and frameworks.
- Mentor junior members of the engineering team, fostering their professional growth.
Requirements
- Possess 3+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, with a proven track record of building scalable web applications.
- Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies, including PHP/Laravel, JavaScript, and Vue.js, coupled with a strong drive to stay current with ongoing technological advancements.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in unblocking and guiding development teams.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with product teams.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity, a strong ability to create clarity, and eagerness to problem-solve and advance projects and team objectives.
