Senior Software Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong backend focus to support server-side development and scheduled background processes. This role collaborates closely with senior engineering leadership and a team to build and maintain a scalable cloud-based platform that integrates with large enterprise systems. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using PHP.
• Build and support ETL processes.
• Manage and monitor scheduled background jobs (cron) in production environments.
• Deploy applications on Linux/Debian servers using LAMP technologies.
• Participate in sprint planning, QA, and unit testing efforts.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Adhere to information security policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a senior or technical lead engineering role.
• Strong PHP development experience.
• Experience with MySQL and AWS RDS.
• API integration experience.
• Experience with the Laravel framework.
• Linux command line and shell scripting experience.
• Experience working in LAMP stack environments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $122,442.86 - $147,458.06 per year
