Shop Platform Department

In the Shop Platform department, we develop and operate a comprehensive service ecosystem for our webshop. Our goal is to provide an excellent customer journey, from product search and configuration to ordering. We achieve this by offering high-performance, standardized services that ensure an attractive and seamless online shopping experience, guiding users from discovery to purchase. A key element is our configurator, which allows customers to choose from over 3 million product configurations in our webshop.

Your Role

Do you love developing complex software solutions that not only work but also impress? Perfect! You will shape both the frontend and backend of our applications using modern technologies, clean code, and an architecture focused on performance and security. You'll contribute your technical expertise and innovative drive to advance new ideas. As knowledge grows when shared, you'll gladly pass on your experience to your team.

Whether it's new features or scalability, you'll be actively involved. Together with your team, you'll develop solutions to enhance our platform. Automated tests are a given. You'll take responsibility for operating and maintaining our services, finding smart ways to continuously improve system stability.

Your code will not only change our platform but also our customers' workflows. You'll collaborate closely with various departments to find the best possible solutions. You'll keep our tech stack up-to-date and help decide which tools and technologies are best for us.

Requirements

• Successfully completed training in software development or a degree in computer science.
• Several years of experience as a Fullstack Software Developer with solid knowledge in backend and frontend development.
• In-depth knowledge of PHP, a JavaScript framework (e.g., Vue.js), NoSQL databases, message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ), Docker, and automated testing.
• High standards for clean code, architecture, and code quality.
• Agile mindset and experience with Continuous Integration.
• Experience interacting with stakeholders and confidently leading technical discussions.
• Team player with very good German and English skills.
