As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for the technical support, further development, and integration of our IT Service Management (ITSM) platform as well as other applications. You will ensure that the systems are operated in a stable, high-performing, and future-proof manner and are continuously adapted to new functional and technical requirements.
YOUR AREA
- You continuously administer, configure, and develop our ITSM platform – from instances, forms, and workflows to roles, permissions, and escalation rules.
- You analyze and resolve complex application and infrastructure problems, ensuring stable, secure, and high-performing operation of the platform.
- You develop scripts, automations, and custom extensions using technologies such as PowerShell, JavaScript, and PHP to make processes more efficient and future-proof.
- You seamlessly integrate the ITSM platform into our system landscape and implement interfaces to third-party systems via APIs, web services, and data exchange mechanisms – including Entra ID, Active Directory, Azure, LDAP, CMDB, and other Microsoft systems.
- You perform database queries, analyses, and functional tests, working with PostgreSQL, SQL, and Oracle databases. You also support data imports and exports and ensure high data quality.
- You create meaningful Power BI dashboards and reports, plan and coordinate further developments, releases, and technical changes, and document configurations, interfaces, and solutions. Furthermore, you support knowledge transfer and actively drive the continuous improvement of our processes.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Several years of experience in the administration, configuration, and further development of ITSM platforms.
- Sound knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, SQL, and Oracle.
- Experience with PowerShell, JavaScript, and PHP, as well as in developing interfaces and automations.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Entra ID, Active Directory, Azure, and LDAP.
- Experience with Power BI as well as in project, change, and release management.
- Analytical and structured way of working, strong troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of ITIL, ITSM processes, and IT security.
- German and Italian language skills.
