About the Role
We are hiring a Software Developer for a 3–6 month contract position. This role operates within an AI-enabled development environment. You will design and maintain software patterns that guide AI tools to generate high-quality, secure code. You will collaborate with the team to deliver reliable, maintainable software while leveraging AI to accelerate the development process.
This is a fast-paced opportunity for a quick mover who embraces modern tools and excels at problem-solving within a flexible, AI-driven workflow.
What You’ll Do
- Write selective code to manage complex logic that AI cannot fully automate.
- Review both AI-generated and human-written code for correctness and maintainability.
- Build and maintain automated tests to validate functionality and prevent regressions.
- Continuously refine workflows to enhance accuracy, consistency, and development speed.
- Ensure code adheres to security best practices and is optimized for long-term maintainability.
- Participate actively in code reviews, testing, and release processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of development experience, preferably within SaaS, e-commerce, or Shopify ecosystems.
- Strong proficiency in PHP (Laravel) and Go.
- Experience with frontend technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React or similar frameworks.
- Expertise with REST and GraphQL APIs, including integrations with Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs.
- Comfortable utilizing Git, modern development workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices, system performance, and maintainability.
Bonus Experience:
