Senior Software Developer

Advancia Aeronautics is seeking a Senior Software Developer to support the Department of the Interior, Human Resource Directorate in Lakewood, Colorado. This role involves full life-cycle Information Technology (IT) support services for various Human Resources Directorate (HRD) and Human Resources Systems Management Division (HRMSD) software applications and services. Position is contingent upon contract award, candidate acceptance, and government investigation adjudication.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve software defects efficiently.
• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
• Participate in peer code reviews, offering constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
• Complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines while maintaining high quality.
• Actively contribute to sprint planning and fulfill commitments during agile cycles.
• Provide clear, concise documentation for code, APIs, and system designs.
• Adhere to coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Ensure applications perform well and scale effectively under various conditions.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience with PHP, TUI, Moodle, Lucee Cold Fusion, Java, C++, JavaScript, and SQL.
