About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Software Architect with a strong backend focus to serve as the primary technical reference for our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and ensuring the scalability, resilience, and high availability of complex systems.
We are looking for a results-oriented professional with a product vision and the ability to navigate different technology stacks, ensuring observability, application health, and leading the technical team in executing the engineering plan.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership and Mentoring
- Act as a direct reference for the engineering team, guiding developers, elevating the team's technical level, and supporting team composition and evolution.
Systems Architecture
- Design robust software solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and resilience of client applications.
Product & Business Vision
- Collaborate closely with product and business areas, translating business requirements into viable and scalable technical architectures.
Observability and Monitoring
- Define and implement end-to-end observability strategies to ensure the continuous health and performance of the ecosystem.
Governance and Deliveries
- Assertively lead the technical team to ensure the fulfillment and quality of engineering plan deliveries.
Technical Requirements (Hard Skills)
CMS & Specialized Infrastructure
Practical and solid experience in custom Drupal, specifically working in an Acquia environment.
Programming Languages
- Advanced proficiency and application of best practices in PHP.
- Knowledge and practical experience with Node.js (with a focus on TypeScript), Python, and .NET.
Front-end
Knowledge of React to guide architectural decisions and ensure fluid and performant integrations between backend and frontend.
Cloud & Data Ecosystem
- Practical experience in the architecture and services of the AWS ecosystem.
- Experience in data integrations involving Databricks.
Systems Architecture
Strong background in microservices/API design, integration patterns, and implementation of observability tools.
