YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be a key technical contributor to our projects.
You will develop scalable e-commerce solutions, apply your experience to technical decisions, and work closely with developers, project managers, and clients.
Bring fresh ideas, optimize existing systems, and leverage modern technologies, including AI-supported development processes, to continuously enhance our projects.
Utilize modern AI tools to boost your productivity and help establish Agentic Workflows within the team, defining best practices for working with AI agents.

What are your tasks?
- Develop and enhance Shopware-based e-commerce platforms.
- Design and implement scalable backend architectures.
- Develop custom features, APIs, and integrations.
- Implement object-oriented solutions using PHP and Symfony.
- Optimize performance and ensure quality assurance.
- Collaborate with project management, frontend development, and clients.
- Utilize modern development approaches, including AI-supported tools.
- Actively shape technical solutions and best practices within the team.
What do you bring?
- Several years of experience as a Backend Developer.
- Profound Shopware experience (prerequisite).
- Excellent knowledge of PHP, Symfony, and MySQL.
- Experience in developing e-commerce systems.
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work ethic.
- Extensive experience in Agentic Development and using AI-Native tools.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and scalable web architectures.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Very good German language skills (C1/C2) and good English language skills.
Optional / Nice to have
- Experience with Pimcore.
- Experience with Headless architectures.
- Experience with Cloud environments or DevOps workflows.
