Senior Salesforce Developer - Remote

Life Insurance Direct is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. This 100% remote role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud and Sales Cloud. You will be instrumental in transforming customer experiences and driving business goals within the Insurtech landscape in Australia. This position is ideal for problem-solvers eager to innovate.

Work Schedule: 6:30 AM IST, Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce applications, integrations, and enhancements.
• Build and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce, and Flows.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices, governance, and security standards.
• Work closely with other development teams on diverse technologies.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests, ensuring adequate code coverage.
• Manage deployments using CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git, ANT, and DevOps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Stay current with emerging Salesforce technologies, including AI tools and integrations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and user guides.

Skills & Experience Required

• Fluent English communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Service Cloud and Sales Cloud.
• Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and asynchronous processing.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and security (roles, profiles, permissions).
• Experience with APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of advanced Apex patterns (bulkification, trigger frameworks, asynchronous processing).
• Mandatory: Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.
• Preferred: Platform Developer II and/or Service/Sales Cloud Certification.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Commitment to best practices in performance, security, and maintainability.

Desirable (Nice-to-Have)

• Exposure to Amazon Connect, low-code platforms, and PHP.
• Experience with SMS, email nurturing solutions, or Marketing Cloud.
• Knowledge of AI/automation within Salesforce.
• Experience in the Insurance domain.
