At Händlerbund, you will develop a platform that digitally maps and automates legal processes. This includes creating legal content, managing contract and review processes, and addressing data protection and security issues. You will work on interfaces and plugins that integrate our content into members' shop systems, as well as integrations with partner systems. Our goal is to transform complex legal requirements into reliable, understandable, and efficient digital workflows.

In this role, you will take technical leadership for projects implemented by small teams. You will conceptualize solutions, oversee implementation, guide other developers, and keep all stakeholders informed. You will independently complete smaller projects and collaborate on larger ones using Laravel and Livewire in the stack.

Your Tasks

• Technical Conception: Analyze requirements, design solution architecture, define data models and interfaces, and estimate efforts for features and projects.
• Implementation Ownership: Ensure projects progress from conception to go-live, including task prioritization, progress tracking, technical decision-making, and blocker removal.
• Guidance & Knowledge Transfer: Provide technical leadership to developers through clear specifications, pairing, and code reviews (backend and frontend). Share architectural knowledge and decisions within the team and documentation.
• Reporting: Deliver regular, clear reports on project status, risks, and next steps to Team Leads, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
• Fullstack Development: Implement solutions using Laravel, Livewire, Alpine.js, Flux UI, and Tailwind CSS. Handle smaller projects end-to-end independently, and larger ones collaboratively.
• Partner Integrations: Evaluate, implement, and document interfaces for partner and third-party systems.
• Architecture & Technology Evaluation: Contribute to architecture, development standards, and tooling. Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and AI applications for product and team benefit.

Your Profile

Technical Skills

• PHP & Laravel Expertise: Several years of experience developing full-stack web applications, ideally with Livewire, Alpine.js, Flux UI, and Tailwind CSS in the frontend.
• Technical Leadership: Proven experience in developing technical concepts and leading their implementation, either individually or as a project team lead.
• Comprehensive Code Reviews: Practical experience reviewing both backend and frontend code, providing constructive feedback for growth.
• Testing Proficiency: Skilled with PHPUnit or Pest, and experienced in testing strategies for large codebases. Testing is an integral part of your development process.
• Databases & APIs: Proficient in relational databases, data modeling, and API design.
• Agile Teamwork: Experience in agile environments, ideally with Scrum, emphasizing close collaboration and continuous exchange.

Nice to Have, but not a Must

• DevOps Experience: Familiarity with cloud systems, PaaS platforms, containers, CI/CD, or Linux server administration (e.g., DigitalOcean and Laravel Cloud).
• Experience with shop systems and developing plugins or apps (e.g., Shopify or JTL).
• A strong sense of UX and experience in designing user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience with event-based architectures, queues, or asynchronous processing.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs into product features (prompting, evaluation, guardrails).
