We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer with a strong business vision, capable of going beyond technical development to actively participate in the evolution of our digital products.
We are looking for a developer who understands the impact of their work, proposes improvements, and leverages data, automation, and new technologies, including AI, to generate value. This is a 100% remote position.
Functions/Tasks:
- Develop and evolve functionalities in PHP-based environments, utilizing hexagonal architecture, REST APIs, and testing.
- Participate in technical decisions that impact business outcomes, such as performance, scalability, and conversion.
- Collaborate with product teams to define solutions, not just implement them.
- Identify opportunities for improvement through automation, data usage, and integration of AI solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team, focusing on code quality, processes, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and mentoring within the team as needed.
What We Expect You to Have:
Technical Base
- More than 5 years of experience with PHP and MySQL.
- Experience with frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel.
- Solid knowledge of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and testing.
- Experience working with REST APIs and distributed systems.
Mindset and Approach
- Interest or practical experience with applied artificial intelligence (using APIs, automation, process improvement).
- Ability to understand business metrics and make data-driven decisions.
- Autonomy and ability to thrive in environments with a certain degree of ambiguity.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical profiles.
- Proactive approach: not just executing tasks, but proposing improvements.
Valuable Knowledge
- Infrastructure: Apache, Nginx, Docker, CI/CD.
- Experience with Elasticsearch or other search systems.
- Performance and scalability optimization.
