Required Skills

• Completed higher education degree in Information Technology
• Post-graduation or MBA in the field of expertise and/or Software Engineering processes
• Solid experience with PHP 7
• Familiarity with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases
• Strong object-oriented programming practices
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and libraries such as jQuery
• Understanding of web security principles
• Knowledge of automated testing and debugging techniques

As part of this role, you will:

• Develop, maintain, and evolve web applications using PHP
• Participate in the architecture and implementation of new systems or modules, with a focus on performance, scalability, and security
• Create and consume APIs for seamless system integration
• Utilize frameworks to accelerate development and ensure adherence to best practices
• Guarantee code quality through comprehensive testing, code reviews, and robust programming practices
• Perform queries, data modeling, and maintenance for relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Address bugs and implement continuous improvements for existing functionalities
• Collaborate effectively with front-end, design, and product teams to deliver an optimal user experience
• Employ version control tools (e.g., Git) and continuous integration within the development lifecycle
• Engage in technical meetings, sprint planning, and requirements review in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
• Document source code, APIs, and technical processes to ensure system maintainability and scalability
