We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our global distributed team. This role involves developing and maintaining full-stack applications using a light Scrum methodology. Key responsibilities include working with PHP 8.X, applying object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC patterns, designing and optimizing MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server databases, managing PHP version migrations, and creating Docker environments for deployment. We prioritize clean, maintainable code that adheres to PSR standards and PHPDOC specifications, with a strong focus on application security, performance, and responsive web design.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain applications using PHP 8.X, adhering to object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and the MVC pattern.
- Ensure compliance with PHPDOC specifications and PSR standards for clean, maintainable code.
- Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Handle data migrations and PHP version upgrades efficiently.
- Implement CSS and Responsive Web Design (RWD) principles to ensure optimal user experiences across devices.
- Create and maintain Docker environments for application deployment.
- Test applications for functionality, security, and performance, while proactively debugging and resolving issues.
Must-Haves
- 3+ years of experience with PHP 8.X, demonstrating strong object-oriented programming (OOP) expertise.
- Proficiency in MVC pattern.
- Practical experience with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience migrating between PHP versions.
- Expertise in CSS and Responsive Web Design (RWD).
- Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems.
- Docker fundamentals, including creating Docker environments and Dockerfiles for Ubuntu.
- Upper-intermediate English level.
