Senior PHP Developer (FinTech)

Desucla, a multi-country FinTech group, is seeking a Senior Software Developer specializing in PHP. We provide unique solutions for businesses, accountants, and groups to manage tax liabilities, ranging from VAT to the recent European IOSS scheme. Our services integrate with a wide variety of partners and are utilized by some of the world’s largest companies and best-known accounting firms.

This role offers annual bonuses based on performance in addition to the advertised salary.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Developer, you will take an active role in our development team, focusing on:

• Ensuring timely and quality delivery against roadmap commitments.
• Maintaining consistency of delivery across support, maintenance, and projects.
• Providing an agile development service to the business and clients.
• Hands-on development (front end and backend).
• Mentoring team members, conducting peer code reviews, and supporting the design of new solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates must have at least 8 years of relevant commercial software development experience.

• PHP Experience as a core language, ideally with a framework (CodeIgniter preferred).
• Proficiency in Web Technologies/Frameworks: HTTPs, JSON, Bootstrap, XML, CSS, HTML, JQuery, JavaScript.
• API development experience (ideally REST), including developing and consuming APIs.
• Database Design and Use (SQL based).
• Experience implementing and understanding AGILE development methodology.
• Fluent English language skills (required).

Ideal Skills (Beneficial)

• Payment Experience, including FX and banking APIs.
