The Role:
Apryse seeks a talented Senior PHP Software Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining the Xodo Sign eSign solution, creating innovative features, and contributing to all aspects of the software development lifecycle. We value continuous learning and new technologies. This position requires working Eastern Time hours to align with our global team.
Responsibilities:
- Implement new features and enhance existing functionality for the Xodo Sign platform within a Scrum product development team.
- Participate in all software development stages, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- Conduct research, prepare technical proposals, and deliver demonstrations for new projects and product enhancements.
- Perform code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering peers, providing support, knowledge sharing, and problem-solving expertise.
- Champion and promote engineering best practices for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with modern PHP, MySQL, and REST APIs.
- Proven experience securing, benchmarking, optimizing, and scaling high-availability applications.
- Solid experience with AWS Cloud (EC2, S3, RDS).
- Proficiency in Docker.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with the Symfony framework is a plus.
- A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is beneficial.
