Senior PHP Backend Developer - N2 Support

Our client, a Brazilian technology company, specializes in data analysis and compliance solutions. We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our Support (N2) team. This role focuses on ensuring the maintenance, stability, and continuous evolution of our critical systems, data, and APIs.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of highly critical environments, expertise in handling asynchronous libraries, and a proven ability to ensure high system performance. This is a full-time, remote position (9 am to 6 pm business hours). Candidates must use their own equipment and a robust internet connection (minimum 300 Mbps download, 130 Mbps upload). Access to company resources will be provided via a fully monitored, standardized Linux (Ubuntu) virtual machine with individual computational resources, accessed through a company-issued credential via VPN.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ITSM tools for tracking and managing support tickets.
• Provide sustained support and maintenance for production backend systems, resolving incidents and ensuring service continuity.
• Ensure rapid correction of all identified incidents.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve bugs and failures across systems, data sources, and APIs.
• Engage with Web Crawler for content analysis, extraction, and indexing.
• Promote and implement best practices in software development, ensuring clean, efficient, and sustainable code.
• Implement code improvements and optimizations for enhanced performance, scalability, and security.
• Analyze logs and error metrics to pinpoint root causes of issues.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams for swift resolution of critical problems.
• Contribute positively to the team environment and project success through integrated teamwork.
• Organize, prioritize tasks, and manage delivery expectations within the development team.
• Analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities and propose solutions that optimize development and new feature implementation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of solid experience in Backend development with PHP/Laravel and JavaScript/Node.js/Vue.js.
• Proficiency in integrations between RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Extensive experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Proven experience with Web Crawler technologies.
• Active proficiency in Artificial Intelligence tools for software development, integral to company processes for development, problem-solving, and code optimization.
• Deep knowledge of asynchronous call libraries, such as Guzzle or ReactPHP, for optimizing service communication.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools, specifically Git.
• Strong understanding of web security practices and performance optimization.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Prior experience in highly critical and high-volume data environments.
