Your Responsibilities
- Develop new business logic and migrate existing logic into scalable microservices.
- Lead project- and product-based new developments using technologies like Java Spring Boot, Ant, Maven, Kafka, and OpenShift.
- Develop new frontends and migrate existing UIs leveraging VueJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Ensure high-quality software engineering outcomes for the Product Team by upholding and advancing shared standards such as Clean-Code, Design Patterns, and Testing Principles.
- Actively participate in the agile software development process (Scrum), including continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage in cross-team collaboration to drive the solution design for complex software engineering challenges.
Your Profile
- Proven experience applying modern software architecture and design principles in scaled, distributed systems (e.g., Microservices and Clean Coding).
- Must-Have: Expert knowledge in Java Spring Boot.
- Plus: Experience with Ant, Maven, Kafka, OpenShift.
- Strong proficiency in a modern frontend technology; VueJS is desirable, or a strong motivation to learn a new frontend technology.
- Agile mindset with a solid understanding of the 'why' behind agile software development.
- Advantageous: Knowledge of our legacy stack, including PHP/Laravel, Oracle PL/SQL, relational databases, and Java EE.
