We are seeking a dedicated Senior Microservice Developer (full-time, 40 hours per week) for the earliest possible date in the Leipzig area or remote.

Your Future Area of Responsibility:
- Development of new business logic and migration of existing logic into scalable microservices, alongside project- and product-based new developments using technologies like Java Spring Boot, Ant, Maven, Kafka, and OpenShift.
- Development of frontends and migration of existing UIs based on technologies such as VueJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Taking responsibility for high-quality software engineering results by ensuring and advancing shared software engineering standards like Clean-Code, Design Patterns, or Testing Principles.
- Participation in the agile software development process (Scrum), including Continuous Improvement.
- Cross-team participation and advancement of solution design for complex software engineering problems.
Our Expectations of You:
- Experience applying modern software architecture and software design principles in scaled, distributed systems (e.g., Microservices and Clean Coding).
- Must Have: Expert knowledge in Java Spring Boot.
- A plus: Experience in Ant, Maven, Kafka, OpenShift.
- Very good knowledge of a modern frontend technology; VueJS is desirable, or motivation to learn a new frontend technology.
- Agile mindset and a good understanding of the rationale behind agile software development.
- Advantageous knowledge of our Legacy Stack, such as PHP/Laravel, Oracle PL/SQL, relational databases, and Java EE.
