Senior Magento Developer

We are seeking a Senior Magento Developer with solid experience in Magento (preferably Magento 2) to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical profile, experience building enterprise solutions, mastery of scalable architectures, and advanced knowledge in cloud (AWS or Azure).

This role will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining critical e-commerce modules and components using PHP, Magento Framework, GraphQL, Redis, and best practices for integration and performance. This position requires a quality-oriented mindset, analytical skills, effective communication, and experience working on high-volume, high-availability projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize modules, extensions, and functionalities in Magento 2.
• Implement scalable technical solutions based on enterprise architecture.
• Design and implement integrations via REST API and GraphQL.
• Optimize platform performance using Redis, indexes, caches, and Magento best practices.
• Create and maintain backend components in PHP (7.x/8.x) following PSR standards and design patterns.
• Develop integrations with cloud services (AWS or Azure) such as: S3 / Blob Storage, CloudFront / CDN, Lambda / Functions, RDS / Aurora / Managed MySQL.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Frontend teams to ensure robust deliveries.
• Document processes, workflows, and architectural decisions.
• Actively participate in the technical definition of new projects and continuous improvements.

Requirements:

• Mandatory
• 3+ years of experience as a PHP programmer.
• 2+ years of proven experience with Magento 2.
• Experience in enterprise architecture, microservices, or high-availability systems.
• Knowledge of GraphQL (queries, mutations, resolvers).
• Experience with Redis for caching and sessions.
• Experience working with AWS or Azure (minimum one).
• Mastery of design patterns (Factory, Observer, Dependency Injection).
• Advanced knowledge of MySQL, optimized queries, and indexes.
• Use of Git, GitFlow, and agile methodologies.
• Desirable
• Certifications in Magento, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments.
• Experience in CI/CD integration.
• Experience in performance tuning for Magento (FPC, Varnish).
• Knowledge of tools like New Relic, Elastic, Kibana, or similar.

Salary: $13,388.53 - $28,241.58 per month
