About the Role and Your Impact

Our IT team operates in cross-functional squads, driving platform development in a product-centered environment. To support our growth and accelerate feature delivery, we are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a strong focus on NuxtJS and Symfony development.

You will play a central role in building and enhancing our legal tech platform, utilizing AI tools for smarter software development, from prototyping and testing to code generation and design decisions. You should be proficient in modern stacks and adept at delegating repetitive tasks to AI, rigorously validating the results.

Your Responsibilities

• Work within agile Scrum teams dedicated to simplifying access to legal consultation daily.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools such as Cursor IDE, Amazon Q, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot to:
  • Generate and refactor code based on prompts and context.
  • Rapidly build proof-of-concepts and transform them into production-grade code.
  • Streamline documentation, enhance code review processes, and proactively identify potential issues.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain modern frontend components using Vue.js, NuxtJS, Tailwind CSS, and related tools.
• Build and extend backend APIs (GraphQL & REST) using PHP frameworks like Symfony or Laminas, designed for scalability and clean architecture.
• Validate AI-generated code through robust testing practices with Vitest, PHPUnit, Cypress, and similar tools.
• Write clear, prompt-based tests and leverage AI to generate edge-case scenarios, ensuring high test coverage.
• Participate in and influence architectural discussions, including our weekly open architecture sessions.
• Assist the team in adopting new AI tools and approaches that reduce development time, improve quality, or simplify complexity.
• Work with DevOps to optimize CI/CD pipelines, enhance observability, and ensure seamless releases.

Your Skills

• Strong frontend skills in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, with hands-on experience in Vue.js, NuxtJS, Vite, and Tailwind.
• At least 5 years of experience in fullstack development with modern PHP (Symfony, Laminas), GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and SQL-based databases.
• Confident in working with AI-assisted development environments (e.g., Cursor IDE, Amazon Q, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT), capable of independently validating and refining their output.
• Experience using AI to accelerate development, improve tests, generate documentation, and optimize code or architecture.
• Comfortable with large, modular codebases and modern software engineering practices (clean code, SOLID principles, design patterns).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker), DevOps practices, and CI/CD workflows.
• Pragmatic, curious, and eager to adopt new tools or approaches that enhance outcomes.
• Fluency in German (B2+) is a plus for cross-team and stakeholder collaboration.
