Position Location: REMOTE

We are seeking a developer capable of designing and scaling highly available distributed architectures, applying best practices, messaging, and containers. Expertise in Node.js, Python, microservices, AWS, and React is required. This role involves collaborative work within squads, participation in technical decisions, and maintaining a focus on customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish technical standards and support team members in expanding their technical knowledge.
• Develop and maintain microservices and APIs, emphasizing performance, security, and scalability.
• Design and implement distributed architectures, applying best practices such as Clean Architecture, DDD, TDD, and efficient use of messaging and containers.
• Ensure high availability and resilience of critical systems through robust monitoring and observability practices.
• Collaborate with product, data, and other squads, deeply understanding business challenges before proposing technical solutions.
• Mentor team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Organize deliverables with a strong sense of priority and impact, always focusing on customer experience.
• Actively participate in technical decisions within the involved ecosystem, demonstrating autonomy and ownership.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Languages: Node.js, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
• Architecture: Microservices, RESTful APIs, Clean Architecture, DDD, TDD, BDD, and Design Patterns.
• Relational and Non-Relational Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Messaging: Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Containers and DevOps: Docker, Docker Compose, Git, and GitHub Actions.
• Cloud: AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).
• Observability: New Relic, Grafana, and CloudWatch.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Java and PHP experience.
• Experience with Micro-frontends.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with test automation.
