Senior Full-stack PHP Engineer (Remote)

We seek a talented, passionate, and experienced Senior Full-stack PHP Web Developer with 3+ years of professional experience. This role requires strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, and Javascript (ES6). If you can conceptualize and implement complex, intricate systems, you are the ideal candidate. This position focuses primarily on developing and scaling our web-based platform products.

Reporting and Working Relationships

This role reports to the VP, Engineering. Daily collaboration involves working directly with the Technology Lead and Account Managers on overall product development, roadmap epics, feature/functionality development and enhancement, release plans, and backlog grooming. This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Job Responsibility

• Create innovative, scalable, and fault-tolerant software solutions for clients and customers.
• Write and test code to ensure compatibility and stability; refine and rewrite code as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with the product team, project managers, other developers, and sales and marketing teams.
• Create clear technical specifications.
• Analyze user requirements and stories.
• Expand existing software to meet the changing needs of key demographics.

Technologies/Frameworks

• PHP: 3+ years experience (Required)
• MySQL: 3+ years experience (Required)
• Laravel / CodeIgniter: 3+ years experience (Required)
• Javascript (ES6)
• Git: 3+ year experience (Preferred)
• Vue JS: 2+ year experience (Preferred but not required)
• Experience with REST APIs.
• AWS: 2+ year experience (Preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of encryption methodologies: 1+ year experience preferred.
• SSO (SAML2, OAUTH, JWT): 1+ year experience preferred.
• Professional Degree in engineering background (Preferred but not required).

Additional Information

Job Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week, Senior Level. Remote position (Office available for use in Atlanta, 30318).

Compensation: Salary range $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year, based on experience and skill set.

Required Experience: 3 years professional (non-freelance) working in a company setting; 3 years PHP + MySQL + Laravel.
