What You'll Do
- Develop & Maintain: Design and implement robust server-side logic using PHP and the Laravel framework. Write high-quality, maintainable front-end code using JavaScript, React, semantic HTML, and CSS.
- Design Translation: Convert design wireframes into interactive and responsive web applications.
- Database Management: Architect and manage database schemas with MySQL, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
- AWS Services & IAC: Knowledge of AWS technologies (including ECS and Lambda) and Terraform is a bonus.
- Collaborate: Work closely with designers and stakeholders to align work with business strategy and client needs.
- Security: Implement and maintain top-tier security and data protection measures, following best practices for authentication and authorization.
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of hands-on full-stack engineering experience with Laravel and its ecosystem.
- Proficiency in SQL (MySQL or Postgres); NoSQL (DynamoDB) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Design Patterns (OOP, SOLID, DRY, Strategy Pattern, Repository & Service Patterns, Dependency Injection).
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Pest, PHPUnit, and Playwright.
- Knowledge of Service Designs including Monolith and REST APIs.
- Must-have experience with JavaScript, React, and JQuery.
- A security mindset, including awareness of OWASP vulnerabilities and best practices.
- Experience with Containerization (Docker).
- Strong understanding of Asynchronous Programming, including handling asynchronous requests, partial page updates, and working with web APIs.
- Expertise in writing clean, accessible semantic HTML and CSS.
- Proficiency with Git and common version control practices, including websockets.
- Previous experience working in SOC 2 and/or GDPR environments.

Pay: $99,084.13 - $119,327.12 per year
