Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is a master of their craft and a forward-thinker passionate about the future of software development. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our core platform, designing and building scalable, high-performance services.
This position goes beyond typical engineering. We are looking for an individual excited by the practical application of AI to enhance our development processes. You will explore and implement AI-powered tools to boost developer velocity, improve code quality, and automate complex tasks. Your strong sense of user experience will be critical for building features that are technically sound, intuitive, and elegant for our users.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web services for our core B2B SaaS application.
- Write clean, high-quality, and well-tested code, primarily in Ruby and Go.
- Architect and manage complex database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL.
- Lead initiatives to research, prototype, and implement AI-powered tools to accelerate the software development lifecycle, including intelligent code completion, automated reviews, and advanced CI/CD pipeline optimizations.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate complex user requirements into elegant, user-centric solutions.
- Mentor other engineers, champion best practices, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements & Skills:
- 5+ years of deep proficiency in the full stack of B2B SaaS, including:
- Front end: Vanilla HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Back end: Go (preferred), Ruby/Python/PHP (acceptable)
- Database: PostgreSQL
- A product-first mindset with demonstrated ability to think from the user's perspective and a keen eye for user experience and design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to architect solutions for complex, distributed systems.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a highly collaborative environment.
