Senior Full Stack Engineer/ 3 days ago
Quick Summary
LanguageWire is a global leader in language and content services, empowering brands to achieve their full global potential. Since 2000, we have developed unique technology for seamless multilingual communication. Our worldwide network of language experts and intuitive online platform enable effortless translation and multilingual content management.
The role you’ll play
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will own outcomes, not just ship code. You will join a product-driven team responsible for building, running, and continuously improving the platform used by translators, customers, and internal experts. From conception to production and beyond, you will ensure value creation, quality, and operational excellence in a cloud-native environment. Your primary focus will be modernizing and extending the frontend (Vue.js + TypeScript), while also contributing to PHP or .NET solutions and databases as needed. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and teammates to deliver impactful features.
The team you’ll be a part of
We are transitioning from a feature factory to a product team mindset, prioritizing outcomes over output, continuous delivery over long release cycles, and shared ownership. Our platform is powered by a suite of PHP and .NET solutions, and as part of the team, you will ensure these services are reliable, scalable, and deliver maximum value to users.
What you’ll do
- Take end-to-end ownership of features and services: from design and coding to deployment, monitoring, and maintenance (“You build it, you run it”).
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to craft solutions that address real user problems.
- Modernize and expand the frontend while contributing to backend services and databases.
- Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of new product capabilities.
- Set up and improve CI/CD pipelines for frequent and confident delivery.
- Ensure quality through testing (TDD/BDD), code reviews, and proactive issue prevention.
- Apply best practices in DevOps, Automation, and Operational Excellence.
- Share knowledge effectively within the team.
In one year, you’ll know you were successful if…
- You’ve delivered meaningful features that are widely used and appreciated by our customers.
- You’ve enhanced the reliability and delivery speed of our platform through improved CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- You are recognized as a go-to person for product and technical leadership within the team.
- You and your team feel genuine ownership of the product, celebrating outcomes rather than just output.
Desired experience and competencies
What we’re looking for
- A product mindset: a focus on solving problems, not just completing tickets.
- Strong full stack experience:
- Backend: C#, .NET Core 10, PHP, microservices
- Databases: MSSQL and/or PostgreSQL
- Frontend: Primarily Vue.js and/or TypeScript
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern engineering practices.
- Hands-on DevOps experience: CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform, Helm), containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Proven ability to mentor, collaborate across disciplines, and elevate team practices.
- Comfortable in agile environments, actively shaping team ceremonies, planning, and retrospectives.
